Berroco Boho Yarn
This yarn is F-U-N to knit with! It's a little slick, so I'd recommend a "stickier" needle or hook like bamboo or wood. I started on slick metals and couldn't control the yarn. Berroco calls Boho "a clever Italian creation", and I have to agree. It is created using a narrow knitting machine and is constructed of hosiery yarn alternating 3 different fibers in long repeats. You'll find that when knitting with Boho yarn, you're actually knitting with a small (heavy worsted) knitted fabric. That's the best I can do to describe it, but it's just neat. Boho is "sort of" variegated in so much that the yarn switches from matte (cotton) to shine (nylon/rayon) and creates a self-striping effect that gives dimension to the finished fabric. The look you'll achieve with this yarn will vary greatly depending upon whether you knit it "short-wise" or "long-wise". The different yarns pool into distinctly different fabrics and colors when you knit it short (across the short length of the fabric). On the other hand, the effect is entirely different when you knit Boho long (across the longer length of the fabric).
